Love and Lust

Love is a feeling of deep affection that is cultivated between  two people, and grows over time, through  getting to know him or her and experiencing  life's  ups and downs  together.  It involves  commitment, time, mutual trust, and acceptance.

There are many kinds of affection  a person can have for another person, and  can also be described  as love. The love felt for parents cannot  be the same,  as the love felt for  a close friend or a romentic partner. You  can also have a strong  emotional bond with an animal, such as a dog, that too is love.

Lust on the other hand, is a feeling  of having a strong sexual desire for another  person. It is a driving  force that  atrract us to a potential  partner, and it is what keeps the passion alive in a long  term relationship. It has to do with sex-driven sensations that draw people to one another . Lust blurs the ability to see a person for who he or she truly is , and consequently, it may not lead to a long-term  relationship.

Ever found  yourself  in favour of lust over love?

  1. Lust is craving someone sexually and that means the other partner get "attatched" to their sexual partner not necessarily being "loved".

  2. Many people find themselves in relationships and marriages because of lust
This where many play the "your not the person I fell in love with" card because the infatuation has disappeared and all they can do is blame the other person
